Policies for Schools

The recommendations
Schools should have Acceptable Internet Use Policies, for pupils and for staff.
Policies should take into account supervised and unsupervised use, both during school time and also out with school hours.
These policy documents should include a clear section about the school's responsibilities regarding publishing pupils' information on a school website.
Policies should include reference to Child Protection procedures.
Guidelines for Internet use should be displayed in obvious places, perhaps on the sides of the computers themselves.
Any guidelines that are developed within the school should be shared with others to increase networking and make efficient use of resources.

Painting

Painting is the practice of apply color to a surface (support) such as, e.g. paper, canvas, wood, glass, lacquer or concrete. However, when used in an artistic sense, the term "painting" means the use of this action in combination with drawing, composition and other visual considerations in order to manifest the expressive and conceptual intention of the practitioner.

Paintings are used as a mode of representing, documenting and express all the varied intents and subjects that are as numerous as there are practitioners of the craft. Paintings can be naturalistic and representational as in a still life or landscape painting, photographic, abstract, be loaded with narrative content, symbolism, emotion or be political in nature. A large portion of the history of painting is dominated by spiritual motifs and ideas; sites of this kind of painting range from artwork depicting mythological figures on pottery to biblical scenes rendered on the interior walls and ceiling of The Sistine Chapel to depictions of the human body itself as a spiritual subject.

Tata Nano

The Tata Nano is a planned city car debuted by India's Tata Motors at the 9th annual Auto Expo on January 10, 2008 at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi, India.

Called the people’s car in Tata's promotional material, it was projected to be the smallest amount luxurious production car in the world. The standard version of the Nano is projected to sell for Rs.100,000 (approximately US $2500, GBP 1277, or € 1700), not including fees or delivery.

Newsweek identify the Nano as a part of a "new breed of 21st-century cars" that embodies "a contrarian philosophy of smaller, lighter, and cheaper" and portends a new era in inexpensive personal transportation - and potentially, "global gridlock". The Wall Street Journal confirms a global trend toward small cars, led by the Nano.

The prefix "Nano" derives from the Greek root 'nanos', meaning dwarf - as with nanometer. "Nano" also means "small" in Gujarati, the native verbal communication of the Tata family, founders of the Tata Group.
